The 2017 Montgomery County GreenFest is located at Bohrer Park and the Activity Center at 506 S Frederick Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20877

  • Due to the anticipated large crowds public transportation is encouraged.
  • This event is rain or shine (if rain, everything moves indoors!)

How to Get There?

By Car:

Parking is available at:

  • The Activity Center (Will be the first to fill up)
  • Adjacent to Gaithersburg High School
  • City of Gaithersburg Parking Garage

If driving, try to carpool!

Please factor in the short walk from your car into your schedule

Accessible parking is adjacent to the Activity Center.

 

 

Take a Free Bus to GreenFest!

Thanks to the support of RideOn and the County Department of Transportation, GreenFest will have 2 free, accessible shuttle buses available for the public.

  • GreenFest Route 1: Shady Grove Metro Loop
  • GreenFest Route 2: Lake Forest Transit Center Loop

Each route will go direct to GreenFest and back to either the Shady Grove Metro or the Lake Forest Transit Center.  The entire loop will take 20-30 minutes.  The buses will drop off in front of the Bohrer Park Activity Center at GreenFest.

By Walking or Biking:

  • Bike racks are available at the Activity Center
  • We encourage walking or biking to the GreenFest, if feasible!
  • Take Capital Bikeshare to the Shady Grove Metro and then hop on the free shuttle bus!

 

By RideOn Bus:

  • The RideOn 55 and 59 buses dropoff near the Activity Center.  For a map and schedule of RideOn buses, visit their website.

 

By Metro:

  • GreenFest is a 10 minute bus ride from the Shady Grove Metro Stop, then hop on the free shuttle bus!
  • The Marc Train does not run on the weekend to Gaithersburg
